The Art of Michael Blaser

Artist's Reception - Friday, September 5, 6-8 PM
Row House Gallery will host nationally recognized maritime artist, Michael Blaser, in The Art of Michael Blaser. The show will open with an artist’s reception on Friday, September 5, 2008, 6-8 PM, and the art work will hang through September 20. Together, Row House and Blaser will debut the artist’s latest Cincinnati painting, Looking for a Single Straight Line, Cincinnati 1930. Blaser is well known in the greater Cincinnati area as the official painter for Tall Stacks and recognized nationally for his fine art paintings. “I have painted river ports, river boats, deep water ports and ocean going vessels all my life,” said Blaser. “Cincinnati has always provided endless inspiration, and I’m pleased to debut my latest Cincinnati painting at this upcoming event.” The artist’s reception on September 5 will be a featured event during Milford’s First Friday Shop Hop, a monthly ”happening” in historic Milford when businesses stay open late and offer special shopping, eating, and entertainment options

Row House Gallery is teaming up with artists from the Masterworks for Nature organization to present an original miniature art show. The gallery and participating artists have agreed to donate a portion of sales to Little Miami Inc., for its continuing conservation programs focused at the Little Miami River.
